Polaroid XS80 HD Action Camera

Polaroid has released a new addition to its mountable HD action lineup, the XS80.  The camera is equipped with a 1/2.5" CMOS image sensor and a 120-degree ultra wide angle lens and is capable of recording full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. The XS80 is housed in a shock-, impact-, and waterproof (up to 30') case featuring anti-shake technology. The camera's MSRP is set to $129.99, and, although Polaroid says that the camera is available now, the product's page shows it as currently unavailable.

Olympus PEN E-P5 Camera

Olympus has announced the launch of its new Micro Four Thirds camera, PEN E-P5. Designed with photography enthusiasts in mind, the new camera features a 16MP TruePic VI Live MOS sensor with 5-axis image stabilization, a new Super Spot AF system, a 1/8000s mechanical shutter, continuous shooting capabilities up to 9 f/s, a tiltable 1.04M-dot 3" touchscreen with HD 1.48x VF-4 viewfinder, a built-in flash, Full HD 1080v movie recording mode, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The E-P5 will be available in May starting at $999.99 for body only.

Nokia Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8

Nokia has finally unveiled its new Windows Phone 8 flagship handset, the Lumia 928. The device sports wireless charging as well as NFC, a 4.5" AMOLED touchscreen, an 8.7MP back-facing camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, Auto Focus, Optical Image Stabilization, Xenon flash, and full 1080p video recording capabilities, a 1.2MP front-facing camera, a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm processor, and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available for $99.99 at Verizon with two-year agreement starting May 16th.

Samsung NX2000 Camera

Samsung has announced the expansion of its SMART series with the new NX2000 mirrorless camera. Equipped with a 20.3MP CMOS sensor and a large 3.7" 1,152k-dot WVGA touchscreen LCD, the NX2000 features full 1080p HD video recording and 8fps continuous shooting capabilities, 14 different scene modes, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. The camera is expected to be available in three colors, black, white, and pink, at around $650.
