Fujifilm X-M1 Camera

Fujifilm expands its lineup of mirrorless cameras with the X-M1.  Compact and lightweight, the retro-styled camera features a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, a 3" tilting LCD screen, a built-in flash, full HD video recording capabilities at 30fps, and WiFi connectivity. The X-M1 comes with a new XC16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OIS zoom (24mm-76mm equivalent) kit lens and will available in black, silver, and brown sometime in July.

Samsung Galaxy NX Camera

Samsung has announced the world's first Android-based mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, the Galaxy NX. The new camera features a 20.3MP APS-C sensor, a 4.8" HD LCD screen, Wi-Fi and 3G/4G LTE connectivity, Advanced Hybrid AF system, continuous shooting mode at 8.6fps, full 1080p HD video recording at 25fps, and an array of image editing functions. The Galaxy NX is expected to hit stores sometime this summer.

Pentax Q7 Camera

In addition to releasing the K-50 and K-500, Pentax has announced the Q7, the smallest and lightest interchangeable-lens camera. The 12.4MP Q7 comes with an upgraded 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor and boosted sensitivity to ISO 12,800. The other features include a built-in flash, full 1080p HD video recording, image stabilization, and Eye-Fi support. The camera will be available in 120 color combinations sometime in September for $499.95 (with 27.5-83mm equivalent lens).

Pentax K-50 and K-500 Cameras

Pentax unveils its two new SLR cameras, the mid-range K50 and entry level K-500. The K-50 shares many features with its predecessor, the K-30, and comes with twin dial controls, a super-high ISO 51,200 sensitivity, and a 100% coverage glass prism viewfinder. The K-50 will be available in a wide range of colors for $699.95 for body only. The K-500 is a less expensive version of the K-50 that lacks the weather sealing and only comes in black. It is expected to hit stores in July and will cost $599.95 for body only.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Hybrid Camera

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S4 Zoom, a device that marries a Galaxy S4 Mini with a 16MP compact camera. The new cam-phone runs on a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos processor with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and 1.5GB RAM and sports a 4.3" touchscreen, a 10-x optical zoom lens with a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, a built-in Xenon flash, and a 1.9MP front-facing camera. Additional features include optical image stabilization, full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps, a continuous shooting mode at 4fps, WiFi connectivity, and multiple creative modes. The camera phone is expected to be available in the US sometime in the fourth quarter.

Leica X Vario Camera

 Leica has just announced the release of its latest creation, the Leica X Vario. The new camera sports a 16.1MP CMOS sensor, and a fixed 18-46mm f/3.5 - 6.4 zoom lens (28-70mm equivalent range), a 920K dot 3" LCD screen, 1080p full HD 30 frames per second video recording capabilities, and continuous shooting mode at up to 5 frames per second. The X Vario is expected to be available at Leica authorized dealers at $2,850 starting today.

Pentax has just announced the addition of the white version of WG-3 waterproof camera to its "tough" compact series. Water-, shock-, cold-, and drop-poof, the new camera shares all the specs with its original WG-3 and will be available in the regular and GPS versions in July.

Asus FHD6 Fonepad Note

Asus has just unveiled its first "phablet" device, FHD6 Fonepad Note, at the Computex 2013. The 6-inch phone/tablet hybrid runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and features a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor, a 2GB of RAM, a 1080p display, 8MP full HD rear and 1.2MP front cameras, and front-facing stereo speakers. The company doesn't specify when the phablet goes on sale and how much it will cost.
