Nikon 1 AW1 Camera

Nikon has announced the world's first water-, freeze-, and shock-proof  mirrorless camera, the 1 AW1. The camera's specifications are identical to the Nikon 1 J3. It has the same 14.2MP CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter, EXPEED 3A processor, advanced hybrid AF system, ISO range of 160 to 6,400, continuous shooting mode up to 15 fps, full HD 1080p video recording, and a popup (waterproof) flash. The 1 AW1 is also equipped with a built-in GPS system, Action Control, and a dual altimeter / depth gauge. The camera will be available for $799.95 (with a 1 Nikkor AW 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens) starting October 10.

Fujifilm X-A1 Camera

Fujifilm has unveiled its an entry-level interchangeable lens camera, the X-A1. The new mirrorless shooter is equipped with a 16.3MP APS-C CMOS sensor, EXR Processor II, a 3' 920K-dot tilting LCD, a built-in stereo microphone and a pop-up flash. Additional camera's features include 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, Wi-Fi connectivity, and five film simulation modes. The X-A1 will come bundled with a 16-50mm f/f/3.5-5.6 kit lens and will be available in two body colors, black and blue, in September for $599.95.

Olympus OM-D E-M1 Camera

Olympus has just announced its new OM-D E-M1 Micro Four Thirds flagship camera. The E-M1 features a new 16.3MP Live MOS sensor, a high-speed AF system, a 2.36M dot 1.48x electronic viewfinder,  TruePic VII image processor, a built-in 5-axis image stabilization system, continuous shooting mode up to 10 fps, full HD 1080p up to 30 fps video, a 3" tiltable touchscreen LCD, and built-in WiFi connectivity. The camera will be available in October for around $1,400 (body only).

Leica C Camera

Leica is introducing a new compact camera, the Leica C. The camera features a 12MP 1/1.7" MOS sensor paired with a 28-200 mm equivalent f 2-5.9 lens, a 200k dot viewfinder,  a built-in flash and stereo microphone, optical image stabilization, a full HD video recording mode, and built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity. The camera will be available in two body colors in October.

Nikon COOLPIX P7800 Camera

Nikon is expanding its Advanced Performance COOLPIX series with a new flagship model, the P7800. The 12.2MP camera comes with a 28-200 mm f/2-4 lens, a 921K dots electronic viewfinder, a tiltable LCD screen, full HD 1080p video recording and 8 fps continuous shooting modes. The new camera will be available at around $550 in September.

Nikon Coolpix S02 Camera

Nikon has announced its ultra-compact COOLPIX camera, the S02. The new camera fits in the palm of your hand and sports a 13.2MP CMOS sensor paired with a 3x 30-90mm f/3.3-5.9 Nikkor lens, a 2.7" touch screen LCD, a built-in flash, full HD 1080p video recording function, and an array of creative effects. The S02 will come in silver, white, blue, and pink body colors and will be available for around $180 in September.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX100 and QX10 Cameras

Sony has unveiled its two innovative cameras, the Cyber-shot QX100 and QX10. The new lens-style devices can be attached to a connected smartphone to take high-quality images and full HD videos. The QX100 and QX10 can also be used as independent cameras.
The QX100 sports a premium, 1", 20.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor, a wide-aperture 3.6x Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, a powerful BIONZ image processor, and a dedicated control ring for focus and zoom adjustments. The QX10 is equipped with with a 18.2MP CMOS sensor, a 10x Sony G lens, and built-in Optical SteadyShot. Both cameras have built-in WiFi and NFC. The Cyber-shot QX100 and QX10 will be available in September for $499.99 and $249.99 respectively.
